This report, commissioned by the International Palm Oil Workers United (IPOWU) with funding from Mondiaal FNV, sheds light on the significant health risks oil palm plantation workers face in Colombia, Ghana, and Indonesia due to exposure to hazardous agrochemicals. Despite the economic value of palm oil, its production frequently involves dangerous pesticides and fertilizers, putting workers at risk of severe health issues, including cancer, respiratory problems, and skin disorders, with added impact on vulnerable groups.
