Proud construction workers in Rwanda

Emerthe, Francine, Agnes and Grace work in construction in Rwanda, traditionally a man's world. They are also union leaders and campaign for better working conditions. How do they do that? What do they think of their work, of the union, what are they proudest of? Read their stories.

Emerthe, Francine, Agnes and Grace work in the construction industry in Rwanda. Thanks to the opportunities and training they received via the union, they are now bricklayers, pointers or painters. They are also union leaders and are committed to improving the working conditions for construction workers, especially female construction workers. They do this on behalf of trade union STECOMA. Besides this, they also each have a family. What do they think of their work, of trade union work, and what are they proud of?
